- Day 1 — Arrival in Xi’an: Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.
- Day 2 — Xi’an: Explore the Terracotta Warriors, ancient city wall and Muslim Quarter.
- Day 3 — Xi’an to Jiayuguan: Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Hanyang Tomb before flying to Jiayuguan.
- Day 4 — Jiayuguan: Discover Jiayuguan Pass and the western Great Wall.
- Day 5 — Jiayuguan to Dunhuang: Visit the Wei-Jin tomb murals before travelling to Dunhuang.
- Day 6 — Dunhuang: Explore the Mogao Caves, Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Spring.
- Day 7 — Dunhuang to Turpan: Visit Yulin Caves, then take the train from Liuyuan to Turpan.
- Day 8 — Turpan: Discover Gaochang, Bezeklik, the Flaming Mountains and Tuyoq village.
- Day 9 — Turpan to Kashgar via Urumqi: Visit Emin Minaret, the Karez system and Jiaohe before transferring to Urumqi airport for Kashgar.
- Day 10 — Kashgar: Explore Id Kah Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb and the bazaar.
- Day 11 — Kashgar to Urumqi: Fly to Urumqi and explore its museum and bazaar.
- Day 12 — Heavenly Lake: Spend the day in the mountain scenery surrounding Heavenly Lake.
